The Catalan government, under its policy of not attending any act at which the Spanish crown is present, will hold its own homage to the victims at the Lledoners prison, where the minister who lead the operation after the attacks is being held.

In light of the hypocritical presence of the Spanish regime today in Barcelona it should be remembered that: - the iman responsible for the attacks was a paid informant of the Spanish secret services. - warnings about imminent attacks were withheld from the Catalan police.

- the Catalan parliamentary investigation into the attacks was cancelled by the Spanish government. - Spanish police have downgraded the Catalan police, removing them from the Interpol program whereby European police share information.
